Students from Memorial Middle School, East Central Middle School, Carver Middle School, and Edison Preparatory Middle School had the opportunity to step onto a college campus without leaving the city. They visited the OSU Tulsa campus located right in the heart of downtown.
The tour gave students a firsthand look at what college life looks like, from academic facilities to campus resources, helping make higher education feel less like a distant dream and more like an attainable goal.
For some students, it was their first time setting foot on a college campus. Walking the same grounds where college students pursue degrees in fields like business, health sciences, and technology provided students with the opportunity to picture themselves in that same future.
OSU-Tulsa's location downtown also offered a powerful reminder that higher education is woven into the fabric of their own city, accessible and close to home.
The visit was about more than just seeing a campus. It was about helping students understand that the path to college begins with the choices they make right now — in the classroom, in their communities, and in how they think about what comes next.
