Millie Vickers has been selected as the 2024-2025 Carver Middle School Support Professional of the Year!
Millie joined Team Tulsa as a parent involvement facilitator in 2013. She moved to Carver in 2019 first as a clerk and now as the principal's secretary.
"I’ve gained lifelong friendships working in Tulsa Public Schools," said Millie. "I’ve learned to have more patience, give more grace, and I’ve become a better listener. I try and make it a point to learn the student’s names so I can call them by their name. They are always pleasantly surprised to find out that I remember."
Outside of work, she loves to relieve stress by working out.
