When designing and approving our school calendar for the 2025-26 school year, our district intentionally included multiple days to be used in case of inclement weather closures. As you know, earlier this semester, cold weather and snowy conditions led to several inclement weather days when school was canceled.
Because TPS built instructional time into the calendar that exceeded the state minimum in preparation for possible school closures, we are now able to update and finalize our calendar to reflect the usage of embedded inclement weather days. Barring any additional inclement weather closures, the last day for students will be Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
