  • In the library, go to the 92’s for single biographies. Look for the letter of the person’s last name.
  • In the library, go to the 920’s for books with many biographies. Find a book that might have your person.  Use the index.
  • Use encyclopedias online and on the shelf. Use the index for book encyclopedias.
  • Use online references such as Student Research Center, SIRS Discoverer, Grolier History Resource Center.
  • YOU CAN E-MAIL ARTICLES FROM THE ONLINE REFERENCES.
  • Use search engines like Clusty.com or Google.com to find official sites or museums about your person.
  • Document your sources as you work!
