Useful Links for Faculty

• BrainPop - BrainPop rotates around 21 animations through its free preview version.  This is really a subscription site.  Try the animations to see how they work with your curriculum and to note student response.  Maybe we can get a grant for this. 

• Bubbl.us - this is a web 2.0 (interactive) application for brainstorming online.  You don't have to register.  Just click the button and get started. You can embed what you create into your web page, save it as a picture, or just print it.  It's user friendly. 

• Certificate Street  - certificate maker with lots of templates.  You don't have to register or provide e-mail.  You do have to download the template which means that you will probably need to do this at home to use it.

• Gizmos - explore math and science with Gizmos.  This is a discovery approach to learning math and science.  This too is a subscription database.  You can get a 30 day free trial.  Try it out.  See if it offers anything new for your curriculum and note student interest.  Maybe we can get a grant for this too.
